About The Claw at USF
The Claw at USF, located in Tampa, Florida, was an 18-hole public golf course designed by William F. Mitchell and opened in 1967. Known for its challenging layout with tight fairways lined by majestic oaks and towering cypress, it served as the home course for the University of South Florida's men's and women's golf teams. The course was renowned for its natural beauty and diverse wildlife, offering a unique golfing experience. Unfortunately, The Claw at USF ceased operations in September 2023.
