About Maidstone Club
The Maidstone Club was founded in 1891 and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the United States. It is located on the eastern end of Long Island in East Hampton, New York and is known for its beautiful seaside course. The club has hosted several notable golf tournaments, including the 1895 U.S. Amateur Championship and the Walker Cup in 1928 and 1977. The club also has a rich history of social events and has been frequented by many famous personalities over the years, including President Bill Clinton. The clubhouse, which was designed by Stanford White, is a designated National Historic Landmark.
