Agate Beach is a beautiful oceanfront stretch of sand located just north of Newport, Oregon. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area due to its wide expanse of sand and the abundance of rocks and cliffs that jut out into the ocean. Agate Beach is known for being a popular spot for collecting agates, as well as other mineral specimens like jasper and petrified wood. Visitors can also take in the stunning views of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, which is located just a few miles north of the beach. Additionally, Agate Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing, and exploring tide pools during low tide.
