Pine Lakes Country Club, affectionately known as 'The Granddaddy,' is Myrtle Beach's first golf course, established in 1927. Designed by Robert White, the inaugural president of the PGA of America, this historic course blends classic design with modern amenities. Located less than a half-mile from the Atlantic Ocean, Pine Lakes offers a par 70 layout renowned for its challenging par 4s and scenic beauty. The course underwent a significant renovation in 2009 by architect Craig Schreiner, enhancing its original features while introducing contemporary elements.
