Chingford Golf Club in Chingford is a members-only 18-hole golf course located on the edge of Epping Forest in northeast London. The course was designed by none other than the legendary golf course designer Harry Colt, who also designed some of the most renowned golf courses, including Sunningdale, Wentworth, and Stoke Park. Originally opened in 1888, the course has undergone several redesigns over the years, with the latest renovation taking place in 2019. Chingford Golf Club has a long history of hosting high-profile events, including the PGA Championship in 1964 and 1971, as well as numerous regional and local competitions. The club also has excellent facilities, including a well-stocked pro shop, a practice range, and a clubhouse with a bar and a restaurant serving delicious food.
