El Macero CC is a private golf club located in Davis, California, just outside of Sacramento. The club was founded in 1961 and features a championship 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Muir Graves. The course measures over 7,000 yards from the back tees and is known for its challenging layout and beautiful scenery. In addition to golf, the club offers a variety of amenities, including tennis courts, fitness facilities, swimming pool, and dining options. El Macero has hosted a number of prestigious golf events over the years, including the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship in 1982 and the NCAA Men’s Division I Golf Championship in 1999.
