About Island Green
Island Green, formerly known as "Island Green Golf Club," was a golf course located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. However, as of September 2021, it is closed permanently. The club offered a unique and challenging 18-hole layout designed by William Mooney and Arthur Jack Snyder. It featured numerous water hazards, including the signature 9th hole, which was built on an island green. The course also had generous fairways, large greens, and an overall picturesque setting as it was nestled among beautiful trees and scenic natural landscapes. While Island Green is no longer in operation, Myrtle Beach is still home to many other spectacular golf courses for enthusiasts to enjoy.
