About Anaconda Country Club
Anaconda Country Club, established in 1915 in Anaconda, Montana, is a historic 9-hole course designed by Gregor MacMillan. Originally an 18-hole sand-green facility built by the Anaconda Company to promote healthy activities for its employees, it transitioned to grass greens and a 9-hole layout in the 1950s to reduce costs. The course features mature cottonwoods, willows, and pine trees, with several ponds and creeks, offering a scenic and challenging experience for golfers.
