Irene Country Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in South Africa, located in Centurion, just 15 minutes away from Pretoria. The club was founded in 1912 and designed by course architect Robert Grimsdell, who is known for creating some of the best golf courses in the country. The golf course has hosted several major events over the years, including the Sunshine Tour, the South African Open, and the Ladies South African Open.
