Established in the late 1800s by British planters, Mercara Downs Golf Club in Madikeri, Karnataka, is one of India's oldest golf courses. This 18-hole, par-70 course spans approximately 5,584 yards and features a unique blend of links-style and parkland layouts, with undulating fairways and fast greens.
