About Kendal
Kendal Golf Club, located in the market town of Kendal in Cumbria, was founded in 1891 and was originally located at Carus Green. In 1920, the club moved to its present location at The Helm, where the course was designed by the famous golf course architect James Braid. The 18-hole course is set in stunning surroundings with panoramic views over the Lakeland fells, Morecambe Bay, and the Yorkshire Dales. The course has hosted numerous regional and national events, including the English Amateur Championship and the British Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
