About Krossdalsvöllur
Krossdalsvöllur, also known as Myvatnssveit Golf Course, is a 9-hole, par-33 course located just above the village of Reykjahlíð in the Mývatn region of northeastern Iceland. Set amidst a unique natural environment, the course offers golfers stunning views of the surrounding volcanic landscapes and Lake Mývatn. The course features two sets of tees: the Gulir (Yellow) tees measuring 2,124 meters with a course rating of 32.2 and a slope rating of 113, and the Raudir (Red) tees at 1,900 meters with a course rating of 31.0 and a slope rating of 111. The course is known for its narrow fairways and the challenge posed by the local midge population, providing a distinctive golfing experience in one of Iceland's most picturesque regions.
