River Bend is a neighbourhood located in the southeastern corner of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. It is bordered by the Red Deer River to the east and the Bower neighbourhood to the west. The neighbourhood is home to several parks, including McKenzie Trails Recreation Area and Barrett Park. McKenzie Trails Recreation Area is a popular spot for hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing, while Barrett Park features a playground, picnic area, and spray park. River Bend is also home to the Red Deer Golf and Country Club, a private golf course established in 1922. The neighbourhood is primarily residential, with single-family homes and townhouses. It is considered one of the more affluent neighbourhoods in Red Deer.
