About Spuyten-Duyval Golf Club
The Spuyten-Duyval Golf Club, also known as the Spuyten Duyval Golf Course, was a private club located in Sylvania, Ohio. The course was designed by renowned golf course architect Donald Ross and opened in 1925. It was known for its challenging layout and stunning views of the surrounding area. However, due to financial difficulties, the Spuyten-Duyval Golf Club was eventually forced to close its doors in 2009 after more than 80 years of operation. The property was subsequently sold to a local developer who planned to turn it into a residential community. Today, remnants of the former golf course can still be seen in the area, including old tee boxes, fairways, and greens, but the club itself no longer exists.
