About Upper Montclair
The Upper Montclair golf club was established in 1901 and is a private, members-only golf club. It consists of two 18-hole golf courses, the West Course and the East Course, both of which were designed by renowned golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast. The West Course underwent significant renovations in 2021 to improve its playing conditions and modernize its facilities. The club has hosted several notable golf events, including the PGA Championship in 1937 and the U.S. Women's Open in 2003. It is also home to the Upper Montclair Country Club, which hosts social events, fine dining, and other amenities for its members.
