Musselburgh Links is one of the oldest golf courses in the world, situated in Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland. It has hosted golf for over 450 years and is considered to be the oldest playing golf course in the world. The course has a rich history and has hosted six Open Championships between 1874 and 1889. Interestingly, Musselburgh Links is also unique in that it has a racing track running through the middle of the course, leading to its nickname "The Old Golf Course and Race Ground." Today, the course remains a popular destination for golf enthusiasts and tourists alike, who come to experience the historic links and soak up the rich golfing heritage of East Lothian.
