About Conquistador Course
Conquistador Golf Course, located in Cortez, Colorado, is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Press Maxwell and opened in 1963. The course features rolling hills, large trees, water hazards on eight holes, and panoramic views of the La Plata Mountains, Mesa Verde, and Ute Mountain. At an elevation of 6,200 feet, it offers cool summer weather and challenges golfers of all skill levels.
