About Butler Country Club

Butler Country Club, located in Butler, Pennsylvania, was established in 1908 and features an 18-hole championship golf course. The original nine holes were designed by Tom Bendelow and later redesigned by Emil Loeffler and John McGlynn in the early 1920s. Leonard Macomber added the back nine in 1928, with subsequent renovations by Ed Ault in 1963, Ferdinand Garbin in 1986, and most recently by Jim Nagle in 2022/2023. The course offers a walker-friendly layout with a par of 70, measuring 6,970 yards from the back tees, and has hosted various regional tournaments over the years.
