About Woodside Golf Course
Woodside Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course located in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. The golf course was designed by renowned golf course architect, Alberta's Barry E. Serafini. It features a par-72 championship layout and measures 6,043 yards from the back tees. The course is situated on rolling terrain, with tree-lined fairways and five sets of tees to challenge players of all skill levels. Water hazards come into play on several holes, including the picturesque 9th hole, which features an island green. The course is also known for its well-manicured greens, which offer a smooth and consistent putting surface. Facilities at Woodside Golf Course include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, and a fully stocked pro shop. The Cinnamon Spoon Cafe, located in the clubhouse, offers breakfast and lunch items, as well as a selection of beverages. Woodside Golf Course hosts numerous events and tournaments throughout the year, including the annual Woodside Open. The course has been recognized as one of the best public golf courses in Alberta and is a popular destination for golfers in the Calgary area.
