Bide-A-Wee Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course located in Portsmouth, Virginia. The course was designed by golf course architect Ault, Clark & Associates and opened for play in 1956. It features Bermuda grass fairways and greens, and water comes into play on several holes, making for a challenging game. Bide-A-Wee Golf Course is also home to the Portsmouth City Amateur Golf Championship, a popular local tournament that has been held annually since 1949. Additionally, the course offers a driving range, practice green, and pro shop for golfers to enhance their skills and gear.
