About Torrey Pines
Torrey Pines is a 1,750-acre state reserve located in the community of La Jolla, California. The reserve features several hiking trails, including the popular Razor Point Trail and Beach Trail, which offer stunning ocean views and opportunities for bird-watching. Torrey Pines is also home to the Torrey pine, the rarest native pine tree in the United States, and several endangered species such as the San Diego pocket mouse and the California gnatcatcher. In addition, the reserve includes a visitors center, a museum, and an educational center that offers programs on topics ranging from geology to marine life.
