About Caerleon Municipal Golf Course
Caerleon Golf Club, located in Newport, Wales, is a 9-hole parkland course established in 1976. Designed by Donald Steel, it was the first municipal golf course in Wales and features a par-34 layout measuring 2,908 yards from the yellow tees. The course is known for its flat terrain and has been part of the Celtic Manor Resort since 2010, following a 25-year lease agreement with Newport City Council.
