Established in 1988 on an island in the Loire River near Nantes, Golf de l'Île d'Or features an 18-hole par 72 course designed by Michel Gayon, spanning 6,292 meters, and a 9-hole compact course of 1,217 meters. The sandy terrain ensures year-round playability, and the course is renowned for its scenic beauty, bordered by vineyards and the riverbank.
