County Louth Golf Club, commonly known as Baltray, is a prestigious links course located in the historic Boyne Valley region of Ireland. Founded in 1892, the course was redesigned in 1938 by renowned architects Tom Simpson and Molly Gourlay, and later modernized by Tom MacKenzie in 2003. Measuring 7,031 yards from the championship tees, this par-72 course has hosted notable tournaments, including the Irish Open in 2004 and 2009, where Shane Lowry famously won as an amateur. The course is celebrated for its natural, unspoiled links terrain, featuring towering sandhills and a variety of challenging holes that demand strategic play.
