Established in 1917, Assiniboine Golf Club is one of Winnipeg's oldest courses, offering a challenging 9-hole layout with 18 different tee box locations and three additional greens. Designed by Stanley Thompson, the course features a par 72 layout, playing up to 6,348 yards from the blue tees. The club has a rich history, having adapted its design over the years due to factors like the expansion of the Winnipeg International Airport and the Second World War. Today, it provides a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of all skill levels, with amenities including a licensed restaurant and lounge, and hosts various leagues and events throughout the season.
