About Luisiana State University
The golf club at Louisiana State University, also known as LSU Golf Course, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1961. The course features 18 holes and spans over 250 acres of rolling hills and beautiful landscaping. It is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and well-maintained golf courses in Louisiana. The club also hosts various tournaments and events throughout the year, including the Louisiana Golf Association's State Amateur Championship. In addition to the golf course, the club offers a full-service pro shop, practice facilities, and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar. It is open to the public, but also offers memberships for avid golfers and LSU alumni.
