About Forest Dunes
Forest Dunes is a luxurious golf resort located in Roscommon, Michigan, about 2.5 hours north of Detroit. The resort features four different lodging options including the Lake AuSable Lodge, Clubhouse Suites, Golf Cottages, and Guesthouse Rooms. The main attraction at Forest Dunes is its two championship golf courses, The Forest Dunes Course and The Loop. The Forest Dunes Course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and is ranked as one of the top public courses in the country. The Loop, designed by renowned golf course architect Tom Doak, is the first course in America to feature reversible 18-hole layouts. In addition to golf, Forest Dunes offers a variety of recreational activities, including fly-fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The resort also boasts several dining options, including the Firefly Restaurant, which offers fine dining in a rustic setting, and the relaxed atmosphere of the Fawls Tavern.
