About Hillsborough Golf & Country Club

Hillsborough Golf & Country Club was a private 18-hole golf course located in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey. It was designed by well-known golf course architect Rees Jones and opened in 2004. The course offered a challenging layout with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, surrounded by scenic views of the surrounding hills and landscape. In addition to golf, the club had various amenities for members including a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a fitness center. It also hosted events such as wedding receptions and corporate events. Unfortunately, the club closed in 2020 due to financial difficulties. The property is now being leased to a solar energy company for a solar farm.
