El Dorado Golf & Country Club, located in El Dorado, Arkansas, was founded in 1923 during the oil boom by Colonel Thomas Barton and associates. Designed by Herman Hackbarth and opened in 1925, the 18-hole course features a par of 71 and spans 6,449 yards from the longest tees. The club has a rich history, including hosting the inaugural Oil Belt Golf Tournament, and celebrated its centennial in 2023.
