About Redtail Run

Redtail Run Golf Club is a public golf course located in Decatur, Illinois. It opened in 2006 and was designed by legendary golf course architect, Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course features 18 holes, par-72, and is 7,351 yards from the back tees. It was named after the red-tailed hawks that are common to the area and can often be seen flying above the course. In addition to the golf course, Redtail Run also has a driving range, practice green, and a clubhouse with a pro shop and restaurant. The course has received numerous accolades including being named one of the "Best New Courses You Can Play" by Golf Digest in 2006.
