About Wellshire Golf Club
Wellshire Golf Club is located in the south-central part of Denver, Colorado, and is one of the city's oldest public golf courses. It was designed by architect Donald Ross and opened in 1926. The 18-hole, par-70 course measures 6,430 yards and features narrow fairways, tricky greens, and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. In addition to the golf course, Wellshire also has a practice range, putting green, and chipping area to help golfers improve their game. The clubhouse, which was recently renovated, offers a pro shop, locker rooms, and a restaurant with a patio overlooking the course. Wellshire Golf Club has hosted numerous tournaments and events, including the Colorado Open, the USGA Amateur Qualifier, and the NCAA Regional Championship. The course is also home to the University of Denver's men's and women's golf teams.
