About Carrickmines
Carrickmines Golf Club is located in the affluent suburb of Carrickmines, Dublin, Ireland. Established in 1901, it is a traditional, private members' golf club with a prestigious, championship golf course. The original course was designed by Scottish golf course architect, Harry Vardon, and was later updated by renowned golf course architect, Tom Simpson. The course spans 200 acres of rolling parkland and boasts tree-lined fairways, natural springs, and strategically placed bunkers. The club has hosted numerous prestigious golfing events over the years, including the Irish Close Championship, the Irish Young Professionals' Championship, and the GUI All Ireland Gold Medal. Carrickmines Golf Club is renowned not only for its championship course, but also for its excellent club facilities and warm hospitality towards members and guests.
