Heron Bay golf club is a 27-hole championship golf course located in Locust Grove, GA. The course was designed by Jeff Burton and was opened for play in 1999. Heron Bay is known for its undulating fairways and greens, and its challenging water hazards that come into play on many of the holes. The course has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the "Best Places to Play" in the U.S. Heron Bay is also home to the Braselton Homes Golf Academy, which offers lessons and clinics for all skill levels. Beyond the golf course, the club offers several amenities, including a pro shop, practice facilities, and a clubhouse with a restaurant and bar.
