About Texas Women's University Golf Course
The Texas Women's University Golf Course was established in 1939 and was designed by John Bredemus, a well-known golf course architect of that time. It was located on the campus of Texas Women's University in Denton, TX and was a popular destination for golfers in the area. However, due to declining usage and financial difficulties, the course was closed in 2015. Some of the property has since been repurposed for other uses, but the golf course itself remains abandoned.
