Golf du Mont d'Arbois, located in Megève, France, is the oldest mountain golf course, established in the 1920s by Noémie de Rothschild and later redesigned by professional golfer Henry Cotton. This 18-hole, par 72 course spans approximately 6,000 meters at an average altitude of 1,320 meters, offering panoramic views from Mont Joly to the Aravis range. The course is maintained like a formal French garden and has adopted ecological practices since 2010, promoting biodiversity and eliminating the use of fungicides and herbicides on the greens. It hosts numerous amateur and professional competitions annually.
