Whippoorwill Golf Club is a private country club located in Armonk, Westchester, New York. It was founded in 1928 and designed by Charles Banks, a famous golf course architect. The 18-hole, par 71 championship course spans across 6,865 yards and features water hazards, strategically placed bunkers, and challenging elevations. The club has a rich history and has hosted several important golf championships, including the Met Open, the Met Amateur, and the Westchester PGA Championship. Whippoorwill has also been endorsed by several famous golfers, including Arnold Palmer, who described the course as "one of the finest courses in America."
