About Ardglass
Ardglass Golf Club is located in the picturesque fishing village of Ardglass in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, founded in 1896. The course boasts stunning sea views, with the Irish Sea visible from all 18 holes. The 7th hole, known as "The Quarry", is particularly challenging, with tee shots required to clear a huge rocky outcrop. Ardglass Golf Club has hosted numerous professional and amateur events, including the Paul Lawrie Matchplay in 2017. The clubhouse dates back to the 14th century and is a popular spot for golfers to enjoy a post-round drink or meal.
