About Highland Oaks (RTJ Golf Trail)

Highland Oaks, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Dothan, Alabama, features three 9-hole championship courses—Highlands, Magnolia, and Marshwood—along with a 9-hole Short Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Roger Rulewich, the complex opened in 1993 and is known for its diverse layouts, including the notable 701-yard par-5 sixth hole on the Marshwood course. The facility underwent significant upgrades in 2020, including the installation of TifEagle Ultradwarf greens and a redesigned practice area.
