About Brampton

Brampton is a market town located in the county of Cumbria in the north-west of England. It has a population of just over 4,000 people and is situated on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park. The town is known for its historic buildings, including the impressive St. Martin's Church, which dates back to the 12th century. Brampton has a rich history and was an important trading centre in medieval times - evidence of this can be seen in the town's old market square, which is still used to this day. Today, the town is popular with tourists who come to explore the nearby Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stretches 73 miles across northern England.
