About Cazenovia Park
Cazenovia Park is a 91-acre public park located in South Buffalo, New York, and was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same landscape architect who designed Central Park in New York City. The park features a large playground, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and walking paths. It is also the location of the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, which features various gardens, a conservatory, and an education center. In the winter, the park is utilized for ice skating and sledding. The park is named after the nearby village of Cazenovia, which was named after Theodorus Cazenove, a French Huguenot who settled in New York in the late 1700s.
