About Gulmarg Golf Course

Established in 1890 by Colonel Neville Chamberlain, Gulmarg Golf Club in Jammu and Kashmir, India, is one of the highest green golf courses globally, situated at 2,650 meters above sea level. Redesigned by Peter Thomson in 1970 and later by Ranjit Nanda in 2011, this 18-hole, par-72 course spans 7,505 yards and features India's longest hole, a 610-yard par-5. The course's unique high-altitude setting offers a challenging experience with breathtaking Himalayan views.
