About Angra dos Reis Golf Club

Frade Golf Club, located in Angra dos Reis, Brazil, is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by British architects Dave Thomas and Peter Allis in 1961. Nestled at the base of Pico do Frade amidst the Atlantic Forest, the course offers a challenging layout with a mix of wide and narrow fairways, elevated tees and greens, and six lakes as water hazards. In 2007, the course underwent a complete redesign by Brazilian professional Rafael Navarro, enhancing its natural beauty and playability. The club has hosted international tournaments, including the Circuito Internacional de Golf por los Caminos del Vino in 2018.
