Deer Lake is a man-made lake located in southeast Springfield, Missouri. It covers an area of approximately 125 acres and has a maximum depth of 36 feet. The lake is popular for fishing, boating, and other water-based activities. It is stocked with a variety of fish, including catfish, largemouth bass, sunfish, and crappie. The surrounding area is also home to a number of hiking trails and parks, making it a popular spot for outdoor recreation. Deer Lake is owned and managed by the City Utilities of Springfield.
