About Elkhorn Golf Course

Elkhorn Golf Club in Sun Valley, Idaho, is an 18-hole, par-72 course spanning 7,214 yards. Originally opened in 1974, the course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., with the front nine featuring challenging terrain and the back nine incorporating water hazards on nearly every hole. The course underwent extensive renovations in 2004 and reopened in 2005, offering large undulating greens and over 100 strategically placed sand traps and bunkers. In July 2011, the Sun Valley Company acquired the course, enhancing its facilities to include a 16,000 square foot clubhouse with a restaurant and bar.
