About The Golf Club of Georgia
The Golf Club of Georgia is a private, members-only golf club located in Alpharetta, Georgia, in the United States. The club was founded in 1990 and opened for play in 1991, with the Lakeside Course being the first course to open. The Creekside Course followed soon after and was designed by former PGA Tour player Denis Griffiths. The club also features an expansive clubhouse, a full-service golf shop, and a state-of-the-art practice facility. The Golf Club of Georgia has been the host of numerous elite golf events, including the Nationwide Tour Championship from 1997 to 2002 and the U.S. Collegiate Championship since 2010.
