Saunton Golf Club is a renowned and historic golf course located in the village of Braunton, North Devon. It was originally designed by renowned golf course architect, Herbert Fowler in 1932 and has since then, attracted golf enthusiasts from all over the world. Saunton Golf Club offers two stunning links courses, namely the East Course and the West Course, both of which are set against the backdrop of the beautiful Braunton Burrows. The East Course is considered the more challenging of the two courses, with sloping greens and intricate bunkers, while the West Course is more forgiving and has wide fairways. The Club has also hosted various international events such as the R&A Amateur Championship, the English Women’s Amateur Championship and the EGU Championship. Saunton Golf Club is well known for its traditional clubhouse, which offers spectacular views of the golf course, and the warm welcome extended to visitors.
