About Castle Golf Club
Established in 1913 and designed by renowned architect Harry S. Colt, Castle Golf Club is a premier parkland course located in Rathfarnham, Dublin. The 18-hole course, set on the historic grounds of Rathfarnham Castle, offers a challenging yet picturesque experience with views of the Dublin Mountains. In 1999, the club underwent significant upgrades, including the reconstruction of all greens to USGA sand-based standards under the guidance of Jeff Howes. Castle Golf Club has hosted numerous amateur and professional events, solidifying its reputation as one of Ireland's finest golfing venues.
