Cedar Crest is a historic mansion located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. It was built in 1835 by Moses Ridley, and it is one of the few remaining antebellum homes in the area. The mansion has been restored and is now open to the public for tours, weddings, and events. Cedar Crest is known for its beautiful gardens and grounds, which include a pond, a walking trail, and a gazebo. The mansion is also known for its role in the Battle of Stones River during the Civil War, as it served as a temporary headquarters for both Union and Confederate armies. Today, Cedar Crest is a popular attraction in Murfreesboro and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
