About The Donald Ross Course
The Donald Ross Course is one of two golf courses located at the French Lick Resort in Indiana. It was originally designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross in 1917 and underwent a major restoration in 2005-2006 by renowned golf course architect Lee Schmidt. The course is known for its challenging layout and picturesque views, with rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. It has hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments throughout its history and has been played by many famous golfers, including Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, and Sam Snead.
