About Papago Golf Course
Papago Golf Course is a 36-hole golf course located in Phoenix, Arizona. It was designed by famous golf course architect, William F. Bell, and was opened in 1963. The course features stunning views of the Papago Buttes and Camelback Mountain, and has hosted numerous professional and amateur events. It was also the training site for the Arizona State University's golf team for many years. In 2008, the course underwent a major renovation and redesign by golf course architect, Phil Smith. The renovation included new greens, bunkers, tee boxes, and a new irrigation system. Today, Papago Golf Course is one of the top golfing destinations in the Phoenix area.
